Julian Flick

Julian is Framework’s Business Operations Coordinator, and he brings with him over a decade of experience in legal and corporate administration.

Originally from Germany, Julian began his career in the fast-paced environment of an international law firm. As you might expect, precision, discretion, and organisation were very much a non-negotiable in this field.

Since relocating to Edinburgh in 2016, he has continued to build on this foundation. Here, he’s consistently supported legal professionals, corporate teams, and senior leaders across a range of complex environments.

More recently, Julian worked at executive level within a high-performing entrepreneurial setting. Here, he sharpened his ability to manage competing priorities, implement robust processes, and provide seamless operational support.

At Framework, Julian plays a key role in strengthening the systems that sit behind our client service. His focus is simple: make things work better.

This may mean refining workflows, supporting compliance processes, coordinating business administration, or identifying smarter ways to manage day-to-day operations. Julian also handles the onboarding of new clients to Framework’s systems and deals with anti-money laundering compliance. This gives him a key role in ensuring new client relationships start smoothly and securely.

Whatever it is, Julian specialises in structure, efficiency, and the quiet satisfaction of a well-organised system. As such, Julian has a natural talent for anticipating what’s needed before it’s asked for. Combined with his methodical approach and attention to detail, this makes him an invaluable part of the Framework team.

When he’s not bringing order to our operations, you’ll likely find him out running, particularly trail running and mountain running, or planning his next adventure further afield.
