Welcome, Framework’s New Chief Operating Officer, Colin Gregor

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of the new Chief Operating Officer at Framework, Colin Gregor.

Joining the Framework family at a critical stage of growth, Colin is responsible for shaping people leadership and operational strategy within the business. His remit covers people development, operational management, client service excellence, and change management, to name a few, and he helps our team help our clients as we continue to grow.

His path to joining Framework has been far from traditional, with over seven years of experience at basketballscotland, where he was responsible for organisational development, finance, and HR. He also led commercial strategy and bolstered the overall culture of the organisation.

Before that, Colin enjoyed a 12-year career as a professional rugby player, representing Glasgow Warriors, Scotland ‘A’, and Scotland 7s, captaining the national side. He played in three Rugby World Cups for Scotland 7s and also led his team at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Between important roles in sport and senior leadership, Colin has experience running his own performance and fitness businesses. He’s also developed a career in broadcasting and continues to work as a rugby commentator for BBC Radio Scotland and Discovery Plus, including coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Sean Mavor, Framework’s Managing Director, said of the appointment:

“Colin brings a fantastic background in operations, leadership, culture development, and performance that makes him an outstanding fit for this role. His background gives him a unique perspective on getting the best from people and teams, and he gives us the operational foundations to scale while staying true to the qualities that make Framework special.”
